In the beginning, there was me.

I’m a twenty-something copywriter, wifey and dog lover, standing 4 feet, 11 inches tall with a never-ending to-do list and a slight addiction to shopping. I live with a blue-eyed Irishman (that would be my husband of two years) and a 75-pound Teddy Bear (that would be our overly energetic, always ready to party pup, Teddy). And life as a little trio is pretty sweet. Okay, I lie. It’s actually really sweet.

Then came the blog.

This blog finally came to fruition after months of thinking about bringing a blog to fruition. The giant road block that kept me at bay was trying to come up with an angle or a schtick for these online journal entries. And eventually, I said screw it. I have too many interests — fashion, photography, travel, my bombshell of a husband (he does not love me when I call him that), my dog, advertising, food, reading and writing and well, you get the gist of it. I like so many things. Everything glitters to me.

The way I see it, there’s no better way to express your passion for something than to write about it. So I’m here to write about everything I love. I’ve fallen in love with a lot of things in life. And is an outlet to let everything I fall in love with shine (or glitter, if you will).

  1. I stumbled upon your blog by chance and I must say I felt your frustration with your Iphone…just after reading a couple of paragraphs! On a side note, its a really nice name; I mean everything glitters! I’ll sure be back to read more “glittery” things haha!

Do you have any pictures of your kitchen with the backsplash? I recently purchased the same granite and cannot decide on a backsplash.
